Terms of service.
These terms govern your use of the Riviera Yacht Services marketplace, operated by Unique Capital. By using the site you agree to them. They are written plainly; the binding version will be finalised with counsel before launch.
Who we are
Riviera Yacht Services is a verified marketplace, operated by Unique Capital, that connects yacht owners and captains with vetted service providers across the French Riviera.
A marketplace, not a party to your contract
We introduce qualified demand to providers and, on request, help coordinate it. The service contract is between you and the provider you choose. We are not a party to it, do not perform the services ourselves, and are not responsible for a provider's performance.
What “verified” means
Before a provider joins, we check identity and business standing and review their profile. Verification is a screening step, not a guarantee of any particular outcome, price or availability.
Provider accounts and listings
Providers are responsible for the accuracy of their profile, pricing ranges and availability. We may approve, decline, suspend or remove an account or listing that is inaccurate, misleading or in breach of these terms.
Featured listings and payments
Providers can pay to feature a listing for a set period. Payments are processed by Stripe. A boost activates on payment and runs for its term; once active it is not refundable for the remainder of that term.
Acceptable use
Do not misrepresent who you are, scrape or harvest the site, or use it to send unsolicited marketing. We may restrict access where the site is misused.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts, omissions or performance of providers, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction is the registered seat of the operator, to the extent permitted by law.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected here, and where appropriate we will let account holders know.
